HRRTA Social Scene On September 28th, 2007 HRRTA members enjoyed a social night out, combining a private tour of the Historial Museum, including wine and cheese, with dinner afterwards at Playa Azul. Thanks to Ed and Janet Sands for organizing this fun event. Museum director, David Bisol, gave an interesting presentation on Santa Barbara's cultural heritage, telling stories of the art and artifacts on display. Hope Ranch friends and neighbors enjoyed a kickoff celebration of HRRTA's 50th Anniversary at the Annual Dinner Meeting on March 1st, 2008 held at the historic Santa Barbara Club. The evening included cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, dinner and a brief business meeting followed by guest speaker, Scott Grieve, who gave an informative presentation on Earl Warren Showgrounds. HRRTA members can look forward to some exciting new events in 2008. | | |
